A qualified Chemist, former School Master and Chief Examiner, he now resides in Cwmbrân (The Valley of the Crow) and is the son of the long-established poet Glynfâb John. Dr John is the author of a string of successful books which started with 'A Good Head for Beer' (1982). Over the intervening years he has covered many aspects of his beloved County: his output features a series of regular articles in a wide range of reputable literary publications. A gifted violinist/fiddler, he regularly performs throughout the Principality and on a wider stage for groups including Clocs Canton and the world-renowned Isca Morrismen.
